Godshill holiday cottages
Godshill, near the centre of the Island is one of the most well photographed areas on the Isle of Wight, due to its pretty thatched cottages and picturesque church, which has adorned many postcards and souvenir tea towels for many years.
The village is named after the medieval All Saints' Church which overlooks the village from the hill, a short but steep climb from the village centre. There are several pubs to choose from, including the award-winning Taverners.
The village has a plethora of tea rooms you could sample a different cream tea every day of your holiday! In addition to the tea rooms, as you stroll through the short village, you’ll come across not one, but two Model Villages, depicting the village as it was nearly a hundred years ago.
Within a short drive from Godshill are fantastic beaches at Ventnor and Shanklin.
