Royal Agricultural Show
Penned on the 25th May 2016
The ‘County Show’ as its more commonly known is a popular event on the island with locals due to the large rural and agricultural community on the Island.
The annual Isle of Wight agricultural show returns to the showground between Newport and Cowes this year on Sunday 30th June.
The show is fantastic fun for families and there’s always plenty going on in the main arena area, where visitors are invited to get hands on and ‘come and have a go’.
Children will particularly enjoy the Small animal farm, where they will be able to handle small farm animals such as lambs, piglets, calves and goats.
The events taking place in the main arena include Falconry displays, show jumping, Fun dog show, Tractor display team, clay pigeon shooting and marching bands.
The entrance fee for adults is £8, and children under 16 go free.
