Amazon World is a wildlife experience for all ages and offers you the chance to get up close with a variety of exotic wildlife from across the globe. The park has recently been extensively expanded to house new enclosures for a host of new animals, including Wallabies, Penguins and Lemurs. The ‘Lemur encounter’ is a personal favourite, as the lemurs are very inquisitive and can often be seen climbing all over visitors. These animals are perfectly safe for little ones, and are partial to a selfie, so make sure you have a phone at hand.
The park also has a new children’s play area, with all sorts of climbing structures and swings to wear the kids out before heading home.

Cowboy Town at Blackgang Chine will delight anyone who fondly remembers playing cowboys and Indians as a child. An entire small western town has been recreated on the edge of the park, featuring a saloon, jail, general store and of course a gun store, where you can still buy ‘cap guns’. Watch out for hordes of children chasing around the buildings shooting anything and anyone. Noisy but great fun the children and grown up children!
