Created in 18th century baroque style, this can still be seen today in the partly restored building. Capability Brown was known as Englands greatest gardener, designed over 170 parks, one of which was Appuldurcombe with its 11 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens.
Take a picnic, stroll around the grounds, seek out the red squirrels, watch the falconry displays and generally relax... What a perfect day out!
