The restaurant and café, ‘edulis’ is located on the refurbished ground floor of the visitors centre with large picture windows offering excellent views onto the Mediterranean Garden.

The head Chef uses fresh herbs, salads and vegetables grown in the gardens and delivered daily by the gardeners. These super home grown ingredients include exotic mushrooms and micro herbs and can also be purchased in the shop.

In addition to the restaurant, the gardens also have a fantastic café set in the Old Library. The ‘Plantation Room’ serves lunches, barista coffee, loose leaf teas and wines. The café also has outside seating available in the warmer summer months.
